Terms of Service — Website Addendum
Last updated: August 14, 2026
← Back to common Terms of Service
This English translation is provided for reference only. The Japanese version is the authoritative and legally binding version.
This addendum supplements the common Terms of Service for use of the Operator's websites (kalori.jp and my.kalori.jp, together "the Website"). Article W6 also applies to paid plans sold directly by the Operator outside the App Store, including sign-ups made through the Website or the chat AI integration (MCP connector). In case of conflict between the common Terms and this addendum, this addendum prevails for Website use.
Article W1 (Browsing & Search)
Product browsing, rankings, and search on kalori.jp are available without an account (kalori.jp has no sign-in). Features that require an account are provided on my.kalori.jp, which requires signing in with an external identity provider designated by the Operator (such as Apple or Google).
Article W2 (Cookies & Local Storage)
The Website uses browser storage features to provide the Service and improve UX:
- localStorage (required): stores auth tokens, meal-builder temporary data, etc.
- Cookies / sessions: used for analytics. See the Privacy Policy for details
Disabling these may prevent features such as persistent login.
Article W3 (Advertising)
The Website currently displays no advertising. In the future, third-party advertising services (e.g., Google AdSense) may be introduced to support and maintain the Service. If ads are shown, ad providers may collect usage data via cookies for ad delivery and measurement. See the Privacy Policy and each ad provider's policy for details.
Article W4 (Outbound Links)
Product pages may include links to external store websites. The Operator is not responsible for linked content.
Article W5 (API & Scraping)
Automated access, excessive requests, or large-scale scraping of the Website and related APIs are prohibited (except legitimate use of the external AI API with access tokens issued by the Operator). Violators may be subject to access restriction or IP blocking.
Article W6 (Paid Plans — Direct Sales by the Operator)
The Operator sells a paid plan (Kalori Premium) directly, outside the App Store, through the Website and the chat AI integration (MCP connector). In that case the seller is the Operator, and payment is processed through a payment provider designated by the Operator (Stripe).
- Each plan renews automatically for the displayed term unless you cancel before the next renewal date
- Fees, term, payment timing, cancellation method, and refund handling are shown on the checkout screen and in the Commercial Transactions Disclosure
- You may cancel at any time through the payment provider's customer portal (your chat AI can give you the link) or by contacting the Operator. After cancelling, you may continue to use Premium until the end of the period you have paid for
- If you delete your Kalori account, this subscription is cancelled at the same time (no refund for the remaining period). App Store subscriptions are handled differently; see the iOS App Addendum
- If fees are revised, the Operator will notify you before the next renewal date by a method it designates. If you do not agree to the revised fee, you may cancel before the renewal date
- If payment cannot be confirmed, the Operator may suspend the paid features
